“5 The angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here. For he has risen, just as he said.”  (Matthew 28:5–6) 

Tomorrow morning we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. At Hopeful Baptist Church, we celebrated the institution of the Lord’s Supper on Thursday and focused on the Cross during our Good Friday service. Sunday - we celebrate the fact that Jesus Christ has risen! 

Here is a reminder of what tomorrow will look like at Hopeful Baptist Church:

• Sunday, April 20 - Easter Sunday  

• 7 AM Sunrise Service

• We will have a stage bordering Price Creek Rd. You can sit in your car or bring a chair to worship with us. I will preach a specific message relating to the early morning when the empty tomb was discovered. 

• 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM worship services in the sanctuary 

• Pre-k and kids worship will take place in all of the worship services. 

• We will celebrate baptisms, our choir will lead us, and our kids choir will sing during the 9:45 AM worship service.

This Sunday I will be preaching from Acts 10:34-43, “The Resurrection: Good News.”
